The leadership and members of TACP participated in the General Meeting of Stakeholders in the Cashew Industry for the 2026 season, held on 27 August 2026 in Morogoro.
The meeting focused on discussing achievements and challenges, as well as gathering positive ideas that will contribute to progress and success throughout the cashew value chain.
A call was made to accelerate cashew production and processing in order to achieve the government’s vision of producing one million tonnes of cashews and ensuring that all cashews are processed locally by 2030.
The call was made by Hon. Adam Kigoma Malima, Regional Commissioner of Morogoro, who represented the Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Daniel Chongolo (MP), at the General Meeting of Stakeholders in the Cashew Industry in Tanzania.
