Cashew stakeholders from 7 regions met in Mtwara to review 2025/2026 season guidelines. The meeting is held at Cashew Board of Tanzania Conference Hall in Mtwara and is led by Acting Director General Mr. Reuben Putaputa.
Participants discussed three guidelines 1. Guidelines for raw cashew sales through primary market., 2. Guidelines on market management and sales oversight and 3. Guideline on quality control and oversight, the focus was on summarizing the feedback and finalizing the guidelines, ensuring they are inclusive and legally sound.
